Welcome to Current Gestation – a free service providing the most essential news and updates concerning upcoming episodes of the Infinite Gestation Podcast. And maybe some other stuff, too.
While we hope you are throughly enjoying Part I, Part II of our Dystopian Novel Series is scheduled to drop next week. Patrick is working diligently in the cutting room to make this a reality. Master Librarian Matt Bird sat in on a discussion of Paris in the Twentieth Century (the lost novel) by Jules Verne. This is a perfect opportunity to snag the book for a quick read (it clocks in at 216 pages) before the episode drops – and perhaps even support your local indie bookstore in the process!
Now that summer is drawing to a close (Wait? What?! Didn’t it just start?) vacations have come and gone, placing the podcast back on its flirtation with regularity. Patrick spent a fantastic week in Maine and promises several posts on literary tourism. Do stay tuned.
In honor of the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes (the celebration of which is perhaps a bit morbid, but math is math and 400 is a nice solid number. Moreover, his grave was recently discovered) the panel is actively reading Don Quixote. No promises as to when the actual episode will be released, but it will certainly happen before the year’s is out.
As always, thanks for listening!
